How to Channel Your Book

Course Materials

Lesson 5 : Rapid Drafting

In this lesson, you will learn how to draft the rest of your book rapidly. You can also use your sleeping time to ‘write’ your book.

Before you embark on this next lesson, make sure you have the following to hand.

  • the Mind Map of the reader journey through your book ology
  • the start of your book drafted
  • the end of your book drafted

Many people make a great start on their book but then hit the buffers with the enormity of the task ahead of them.

This lesson takes you through an easy-to-follow process that gets your book drafted in what feels like no time at all.

This video takes you through how I wrote an example chapter for the Balanced Business book.

Task 1 : Developing Your Chapters

These templates allow you to quickly draft your chapters based on your Reader Journey Mind Map. Using these techniques, I channelled this chapter in two 30 minute sessions. Note that I purposely haven’t checked it for spelling mistakes.

Note, it’s a good idea to have a break between writing your first and second draft. Either a tea break, a walk or even a sleep.

Again you can use this brain entrainment track while writing in order to get you into the channelling zone. Optionally, use the Entrancing Your Reader visualisation to get into state or the Messages in Time visualisation to channel your Future Self.

Task 2 : Writing In Your Sleep

Most of us spend 7-8 hours each day sleeping. This is a perfect time for our guides and our Muse to connect with us. They sometimes do this literally and sometimes in metaphor.

This video shows you how to use your dream time to be creative and how to seed, remember and analyse our dreams.

This visualisation is great for getting to sleep – either last thing at night or if you wake up in those early pre-dawn hours of the morning.
