Several hundred thousands of years ago, humankind went through a magical stage in their evolution. They got ‘The Word’ and became self-aware. The acquisition of self-awareness may have been gradual, or overnight, as such subtle transitions leave no fossil record. All we know now is that humankind is able to think … and talk about what they are thinking.
Nowadays of course, we don’t give this amazing ability much thought. From when we awaken in the morning until when we fall asleep at night, our brains enter into automatic self-talk commenting internally about the world around us. Now and again we says our thoughts out loud. What we are doing is taking control of our fifth chakra point (our throat) from our sixth chakra point (our Third Eye).
We are just about to go through a new phase in our evolution which I first read about in a book by Rudolph Steiner called How to Know the Higher Worlds. We are on the cusp of taking our lower chakra points – starting with our heart.
Activating the Heart Ray
All our chakra points are generators and receivers of energy and a powerful vortex emanates from our heart centre that we can use to effect change in the material plane. Here’s a few things you can do with it :
1. Attract your soulmate
2. Soften tense situations – you can even do this ahead of time
3. Moving objects by remote – I haven’t done this but some of my clients have
4. Attract a life of your dreams
5. Heal
This latter application is perhaps one of the most profound. We can not only heal people in person but also remotely and even backwards and forwards in time. Healing the past has instant ramifications in the present for long standing and persistent dis-ease.
My most bizarre personal experience of its use was healing two budgies over Skype in Canada (I live in the UK).
Just in case you think I have gone slightly bonkers, here’s a case study from someone else who learned to use their Heart Ray.
“My mom is 87 years old. A year ago she was inflicted with huge amounts of pain running down her left leg from her hip to her toes. This pain was debilitating both in standing and walking and the only respite she had was when she was semi-lying down ie feet up. She found it really difficult to get around on her own and began to isolate herself, her world became very small as she was unwilling to go out and socialise. My mom is a ‘party animal’ and loves being around people and being interactive. So this demise affected her emotionally and mentally and she became sad / depressed and anxious.”
“I learned from Tom this amazing technique using our heart and the energy from the heart to heal situations, events and people. I was keen to use it and started to use the heart ray meditation every day sending this energy to my mom. I imagined her well – i.e. walking, laughing and standing up. Nothing changed for a while but I persevered and continued to send this energy to her every day. In February this year, she told me that for whatever reason, which she cannot understand, she felt a lot better and in fact could ‘suddenly’ walk without feeling the pain. I know that it was the work of the heart ray and I can only thank Tom with my biggest heart ray in affording me this knowledge and the light that he shines on this planet.”.

Cataracts of the Third Eye
Cataracts of the Third Eye
by Tom Evans | Jun 17, 2016 | Expanding
Earlier this week, as I shook the hand of the eye surgeon, Mr Simon Horgan, after having the second of two cataracts removed, I said, “No more eyes to do then”.
As soon as I said this, I realised that we all possess a Third Eye, also known as the pineal gland, or master gland. What’s more, it is easy to harbour or develop a cloudiness of vision in our Third Eye too. It’s also easy to remove it and to do this without any surgery.
Causes
Cataracts in our ‘optical’ eyes are caused by a degeneration in the clarity of the lens. The primary cause of clouding of the lens is thought to be exposure over time to ultraviolet light, but it’s also thought that it can be brought on by smoking and diabetes. By the age of 80, around 40% of Americans have lens replacements. In the developing world, where treatment is not readily available, it is one of the leading causes of blindness.
Lack of clarity in our ‘knowing’ third eye similarly has many causes:
- A sense of isolation and seperate-ness
- A cynical and sceptical outlook
- Excessive ‘self-talk’
Symptoms
So how do you know if your Third Eye is not ‘seeing’ well?
- You feel lost or directionless
- You can’t see the wood from the trees
- You feel that the world is out to get you
Benefits of a clear Third Eye
When we open our Third Eye, it is like gaining a new super-sense. It is also worth pointing out that René Descartes believed the pineal gland to be the principal seat of the soul. When it is clear, we get:
- Clarity of vision
- Improved claircogniscence and clairvoyance
- An opening to channel
Cures
Fortunately the cure for ‘third eye impairment and blindness’ is relatively simple and painless. It involves two stages:
Firstly, recognising the role and existence of the third eye as a location for super-sensory awareness.
Secondly, moving your consciousness to the third eye by spending a few minutes each day in meditation.
Thirdly, working on and in what you are passionate about under your own steam, or ideally with others.
Insight for Sore Eyes
I am fortunate to live in a part of the world where I can get access to top class medical care. As a result, just a few months after diagnosis, I have clarity of vision back again. I could then see clearly that I have a beautiful mechanism available whereby someone who can afford it gains clarity of vision for their Third Eye and, as a result, someone who can’t afford it gets their eyesight fixed.
So in the second half of 2016, I started donating £40 from every sale of my Heart-full Living course to The IMPACT Foundation. This way someone who can afford it improves their Third Eyesight and someone else got their sight back.
Making an Impact
Since meeting up with the people that run the charity, I realised they do much more than fix eyes. They assist with education and with many other medical interventions. So going forward, I am dropping the single donation idea related to sales of my Heart-full Living course. From any sale of three of my self-study courses*, 20% of the gross amount will be donated AND all courses are available at variable price points to suit what people can afford.

Mindblowing Indecision
by Tom Evans | May 5, 2016 | Expanding

Do you ever get the feeling you don’t know if you are coming or going some days?
Perhaps you feel you are continually at a fork in the road, not knowing whether to turn left or right. You may simply be suffering from ‘twominditis’.
The Devil on Your Shoulder
Now it’s a bit of an urban myth that our left brain is logical and our right brain is creative. It’s more accurate to envisage that the left brain (in most people) handles detail and learned responses and the right brain is ‘whole-istic’ and processes new information. Even this model is a gross over-simplification.
Perhaps because of this urban myth that, when we refer to being in two minds about something, we might think that there is some inner turmoil and squabble between our brain hemispheres. This myth may well have been perpetuated by Tom and Jerry cartoons where a devil perched on a shoulder whispers in one ear while an angel advises caution in the other ear. Incidentally, the devil is often drawn on the left, or sinister, side of the cat urging him to barbecue the mouse!
The Seat of Inner-tuition
These days neuroscientists know that the human gut contains more neurons than a cat’s brain. It is also in constant communication with our head. Much of this mostly silent dialogue is concerned with requesting food and liquids. Often these come in the form of cravings.
If you have ever said, “I wished I had trusted my gut” on this or that, you will have experienced something mystics have known for ages. Our gut, or enteric, mind is the seat of intuition, sometimes in esoteric circles expressed as “inner-tuition”. Neuroscientists have also discovered something bizarre about the neurons in our gut. They seem to react to events in the external world several seconds before they occur.
It turns out that our gut is not only invariably better at making decisions than our head but it makes these decisions before we are consciously aware we need to make them.
The reason matters sometimes go awry is that our gut is a primitive mind centre when it comes to language. It only speaks with a “go” or “stop” or “yes” or “no”. It is also very quiet and is often swamped by the loud and incessant inner chatter of our so-called “monkey mind”.
Something else that mystics ’know’, and that some brighter neuroscientists are just starting two twig, is that our brain is both a generator and receiver of what are called ’thought forms’. If you think about someone just before they call you on the phone, you will have experienced the reception someone else’s generated thought forms. Again, loud inner chatter can swap out incoming whispers.
The Two Mind Conflict
Mystics also ’know’ that it is our thought forms that generate our reality, both individually and collectively.
Such thought forms are not just restricted to our heads. Our gut and heart also generate and receive. Two hearts can literally entwine or fall out of love with each other. Our guts also act as our protector and are where ’fearful’ thoughts lurk in our neurology.
While our head might hold the desire for a certain outcome, our gut mind can harbour the fear that it might not materialise. When such conflicting thought forms leak out, they can interfere with each other and we get stuck at that fork in the road. This is how being in two minds stops us in our tracks – not going left or right or forwards or backwards.
The solution to this quandary lies in invoking the considerable, and often latent, power of our heart mind. When we enter the meditative state, we can quell both the head and gut minds and allow our heart to take over. The thought form that we hold in our heart should be solely our intention!
My Heart-full Living course is based on the wisdom of ages. It shows you how to re-engage with all your mind centres and to allow each centre to operate to it’s natural strength. At the end of the course, there is a bonus visualisation called “The Two Mind Transmutation” which shows a powerful alchemical technique to use the heart to convey your intention.

Awakening with Heart
by Tom Evans | Mar 4, 2016 | Expanding
There was a time when our ancestors walked the planet who were very like us physically, yet they had not developed fully what we take for granted these days. They did not possess our magical ability to be self-aware. They could feel emotions pretty much like we do so could be sad, angry and even grieve for loved ones, as do elephants, ceteceans and primates. They did not possess language as we know it and, as a result, lacked the capacity for internal ‘self-talk’.
Then, around a million or so years ago, something rather remarkable happened – we learned to talk. The Word was made Flesh!

The mystic and sage Rudoplh Steiner describes this process in an interesting way. He described the acquisition of the faculty of language as the 3rd Eye Chakra taking conscious control of the Throat Chakra. Nowadays, we don’t give it a second thought that we can vocalise our thoughts and cause others to have thoughts about what we are thinking. To our ancestors, this would be like magic and unimaginable to them.

About a year ago, a lovely soul called Hannah Smithson suggested to me over Skype that it would be great to do a series of meditations that could be listened to over seven days. As a result of listening to them, some spiritual unfoldment would take place. I suggested that a series that energised and activated the seven chakras would be a good thing to do and I set about channelling them in and recording them. This process involves opening of the Crown Chakra so wisdom can flow through the 3rd Eye Chakra and through my Throat Chakra. This is how things work!

When I do such channelling, my conscious mind merely presses the record and stop buttons and I allow the words to flow. The result of what was created has amazed me and those who have taken the program. Amazing transformations have taken place which Steiner, and others, predicted would unfold. Having taken conscious control of our Throat Chakra, the next phase of human evolution involves us taking conscious control of our lower chakra centres. What we will be able to do when this happens will currently look like magic, until we accept it as being the norm.
For example, we can use our heart chakra to find our soul mate, soften tense situations and heal both face to face and at a distance. This video is typical of the experience.

Once we become comfortable and adept at controlling our heart centre, we can then do the same for the chakras below. For some people, this happens spontaneously. When we activate our solar plexus chakra, we gain the ability to jump forward in time and predict the near-future. We become pre-cogniscent and adept at always making the right choices. I have heard it also leads to the ability to teleport and jump space and time. I have had a few of these experiences already, but when I was not expecting them.

The sacral chakra turns out to be the seat from which we manifest our needs. It’s activation leads to us bringing along just enough money when we need it as well as allowing events to unfold at just the perfect time. While vision boards have their place, fear that our visions might not arrive can tend to prevent our dreams from happening. When we take conscious control of the sacral chakra, our dreams have a tendency to arrive even before we have them.

Activation of the root chakra leads to many benefits. Firstly, it allows us to become connectors from the Above to the Below, with our heart centre as the pivot point. Secondly, it ensures our actions are always carried out with the safety and ecology of the planet at heart. I also suspect it will lead to the ability to levitate but that’s kind of work in progress and has only happened once to me.
The result of activation of all the chakra centres, in the manner I have channelled in, results in a shift from head-based consciousness to heart-based awareness. This is not just a metaphorical shift. It an actual movement of consciousness which comes with new super-sensibilities and abilities.

Switching to EMT
by Tom Evans | Feb 5, 2016 | Expanding
Extended Me Time – EMT

People of the world work to all sorts of different times standards. For some of the year, the UK is on GMT, at other times it shifts by an hour to BST. I interview guests for the Zone Show podcast on AEST, EDT, PST. The five time zones of China are harmonised, for simplicity, into one with the whole territory falling under Beijing Time, or CST.
International travellers sometimes don’t know what day it is, with their body clocks jumbled by the shifting of hours!
I’d like to propose a new common and simpler time standard that all humans switch to called EMT.
EMT stands for Extended Me Time. It is the ’time zone’ we switch to when time elongates and we get more done in less time. It is a magical and creative space where we are both ’in the zone’, while also ’zoning out’.
We can enter EMT simply by beginning each and every day with 10 or 20 minutes of ’me time’ in meditation. This is far from a waste of time. I discovered in my mid-40s that the days I took this time out when so much smoother and I got so much more done. There are also many benefits to our health and wellbeing such that it is thought every minute we spend meditating gets added to our life expectancy. If true, it’s a kind of madness not to meditate.
Throughout the day, and especially while working on creative tasks, with a little practice it becomes then possible to enter the meditative state with your eyes open. We truly enter EMT when we do this as time elongates. Simply put, we begin to control the speed at which time passes by and we get more done in less time.
There is more magic to unfold when we live in EMT. We begin to tap into aha moments on demand where bright ideas that change our world arrive in less than a second. They come from ’inside time’ and ’outside space’.
The regular practice of meditation, and adoption of EMT, also makes us luckier. We begin to notice serendipities that might otherwise slip by. People and events start turn up just at the perfect time. This of course all saves bags of time.
If you’d like to enter EMT and start meditating then I get the free Insight Timer app and I have uploaded a number of free meditations to help you get into EMT.

7 Practical Benefits of Meditation
by Tom Evans | Oct 23, 2015 | Expanding
Meditation isn’t about sitting cross legged in a darkened cave chanting “Ommm”.
It is estimated that every minute spent meditating comes back to you several times over … in a myriad of ways.
Here’s seven ways your investment comes back with the ‘investment’ of just 10 minutes of daily meditation.
#1 : Creating More Time
When we enter the meditative state, time takes on an ethereal quality and stretches. If you embark on a creative task right after meditating, each hour will feel like two or more.
#2 : Being Lucky
Regular meditation reduces our inner chatter, or monkey mind, and as a result we notice events around us that can help us on our path. Perfect serendipities turn up when you are least expecting them.
#3 : Ideas off the Top of Your Head
When we reduce that inner commentary it leaves space for light bulb moments to pop in. Your next idea that will make you millions is just one meditation away.
#4 : Improved Well-being
The health benefits of regular meditation are now well documented. It reduces blood pressure, stress and irritations of the lower bowel. The knock on effect is that along with improved well being comes less time off work, more creativity and increased productivity.
#5 : Finding Your Soul Mate
If you meditate every day for a week, your demeanour and complexion will change. People will ask you if you have had treatment. You become more attractive and the reduced mind chatter allows you to notice people around you who you might love to work with, or to be with.
#6 : Creating a Spiral of Abundance
Money, like thought, is an energy. If we are suffering from lack of money, the very fear that we don’t have enough counterintuitively stops the money energy from arriving. Remove the fear by calming the mind and all the money you need will turn up, just like magic.
#7 : Finding Your Calling
Our thoughts radiate from us and the world that we percieve is reflected back based upon them. When we take time out to meditate, our thoughts go quiet and we allow a more perfect world which is some times beyond our wildest dreams to show up.
